Request for Proposals
The Grundy Livingston Kankakee Workforce Board is soliciting proposals to provide one stop operator services starting July 1, 2026, for the Kankakee Workforce Services office which is the designated one stop for local workforce area #11 under WIOA. The request for proposal can be accessed by clicking the below icon. Proposals are due by April 9, 2026, by 12:00 pm.
Regional & Local Plans
Per WIOA, the Grundy Livingston Kankakee Workforce Board is required to have a local and regional plan. The Workforce Board is a member of two regional areas.
Kankakee & Grundy Counties are part of the Northeast Economic Development Region. Livingston County is part of the North Central Economic Development Region.
Labor Shed Analysis
The Workforce Board contracted Chmura to perform a Labor Shed Market Analysis which was completed in June 2024 to explore wages, workforce, commuting patterns and skills gaps.
